Before joining MMehr, Manuel held a senior consulting role at a German digital health startup. There, he successfully advised on both physical medical devices and digital health software, leveraging his comprehensive understanding of regulatory and operational requirements.

Background

Manuel began his career in medicine after completing his medical degree, specializing in internal medicine and nephrology in Karlsruhe and Hamburg. During his tenure at a major hospital in Hamburg, he gained in-depth insights into medical device regulations from a clinical user’s perspective. Additionally, he developed expertise in reimbursement strategies and incentivization systems for both ambulatory and inpatient care within Germany.

Manuel possesses a deep knowledge of the processes required to introduce new medical devices in Germany. He works closely with clients to devise tailored strategies that ensure their products succeed in this highly regulated market.
